SARAH VOLZ, THE LADY OF ALGAE

Ok, for this time, i would like to tell you about the girl who has found alternative fuels from alga, Sarah volz. I like her so much because she is so fabulous and smart, indeed. I have watched her video on youtube if i am not mistaken. You know then? she was so inspiring, in her video, she pushed us to do what we like without stopping. it means that we have to be more concerned what we will do then. That is why i have to study hard to get what i what. Beside, i really want to meet her and it pushs me to study harder and harder to be able to meet her someday. She is my inspiration, why do i say so? because she loves Biology and so do i. I have been in love with Biology since junior high school.

In this article, i will explain about the smart girl who named Sarah Volz.  She lives in Colorado, USA and she has graduated from her school, Cheyenne Mountain High School. As i know that, she is about to enter the MIT for continuing her study. I know this girl from the book which i bought at GRAMEDIA in Pontianak. the title is 15 Anak Super Penguasa Angka ( 15 the super kids of mastering calculus ). This book does not only explain the genius kids, but also it tells us about what are profession that we could get in the future based on our basic. From this book, i can get some information about how genius those kids are and someday, i really wanna be one of them if Allah will. 

When she was kid, Sarah could remember 80 digits of phi numbers and that is amazing for me, i coul not even memorize those numbers when i was kid. Of late, she is going to develop the alternative fuels as her experiment. She has built a laboratory which it costed about USD100,000. Wow! so a lot of money, right?. If i had that much money, i would build many houses for my mother only. This experiment made President of USA, Barrack Obama, duzzled and suprised becaused of her. Then, Mr. Obama invited her to white house for presenting her experiment. 

That 17 year old girl is breeding the new alga by now. She keeps that plant in laboratory which is built in her room. Beside that, she also built sophisticated devices for her experiment. She is busy doing experiment to attempt to convert alga becomes alternative fuels. 

" For experiment that i'm doing , this plant must be monitored from short-distance. I do the taking of sample everyday, some times in a day. Therefore, i have to be close to the object everytime, ". 

" I think to get involved in academic field in order to do experiment with better laboratory" She said so.

She has done the research to Alga for such a long time. This girl is also one of 22 students who has Davidson Fellowship in 2012. This is like a program which offer the fellowship for students who do research and can be beneficial for many people in Sains, Technology, Mathematic, Music, and philosophy. It means that this girl has accepted two rewards and gifts for her research what she has done, that is COOL, right?. 

There are so many species of Alga which can be the of research, such as Chlorella Vulgaris, Nannochloropsis salina, C. vulgaris, N. salina is including to eustigmatophyte, which has differences with Green Alga. Alga is the plant that grow fast until it can be used to be made as alternative fuels.

I hope that i could be like her someday, because i really want to discover something and do experiment as well.  However, i have to study harder than usual to be a good scientist and i wish i could meet Sarah Volz someday. So, we could make experiment together and make the world better than before. :)
